My $2,500 bed frame was damaged during the move due to improper packaging, along with a few wine glasses. When I submitted a claim to NYC Great Movers, they approved a damage reimbursement of just $7.30.
The workers who were sent over introduced themselves, then informed me that they needed a 'good tip' to work hard. They did not wrap any of my furniture as agreed upon in our contract.
The OLED tv weighed 40 lbs, as such, based on the carriers limited carrier liability insurance coverage, my settlement offer was for $12.00.
