Yelp
Great price and no damage incurred. Hometown moved my entire house to southern Delaware. I had numerous paintings, mirrors and lamps and they wrapped each piece many times to avoid damage.
This was the 1st time using Home Town Moving Co. and they sent us 3 great guys, Austin, Andrew, and Josh. They arrived on time, worked hard, were very respectful and careful with our furniture.
We had a terrific experience using Hometown Movers. All four and later five of the men were patient, friendly, and considerate. We’ve used moving companies in the past; this company gave us the best service.
Negative Hometown Moving Reviews
They were highly recommended, but I was very disappointed because the furniture in both my bedroom and dining room was severely scratched before they wrapped the furniture. I would not recommend using them because they were very careless.
Yelp
When I got their quote it was 40-50% higher than the next closest bidder. The owner blamed his forgetfulness in a very disrespectful way.
I found them to be very unprofessional, complaining about the amount of items in our storage unit and exhibiting generally rude behavior. They were careless with many of our items and disregarded boxes marked fragile.
Neutral Hometown Moving Reviews
The price was good. The guys were nice, but so far I've come across three broken items in the boxes they moved. Some furniture was chipped. Would not use them again.
