Negative Around Town Movers Reviews
Natasha Wright, Google
The receipt stated my total would be a little over $400, but I was later told it would be over $800. A promised mattress cover was not provided, and follow-up did not occur.
David Mastracchio, Google
We were quoted for 4–5 hours, but the move took 5.5 hours and left items behind. We also paid an extra travel charge and never received the promised follow-up.
Zubin Byramjee, Google
The final bill was about 20% higher than the original estimate. Some furniture and linens were damaged, and I had to finish the move in my car because items did not fit.
Neutral Around Town Movers Reviews
Yelp
Four people called me on different occasions for the same move details. The subcontracted movers cared for my belongings, but communication with the main company was disjointed.
Chris Iorio, Google
They arrived at 10:30 instead of 8–9 as promised. The estimate was incorrect; the job needed four people and took nine hours with three.
Kelsey Sowers, Google
Nothing had a scratch, but it cost over $600 to move a tiny apartment. They wrapped everything carefully, though the service felt overpriced for basic belongings.
