Negative City Hound Professional Movers Reviews
Deborah G., Yelp
There was no confirmation of the scheduled appointment, and it took multiple texts to get a response. They arrived an hour late, took several hours longer than expected, and left damage and missing bed hardware.
Will Redmond, Google
Most of the move went well, but they left my island disassembled with screws and other pieces taped together. Pieces appeared to be missing, so I had to find replacements.
Jamie R., Yelp
They were unreliable and late, which caused a domino effect of disasters. I'm still waiting for my broken item to be replaced after they disputed responsibility.
Neutral City Hound Professional Movers Reviews
Felicia C., Yelp
Same-day availability was helpful, but the crew arrived well before the agreed time. I was charged $155 despite the advertised $65 hourly rate, which felt dishonest.
Lisa C., Yelp
The crew was polite and hardworking, but they brought no tools, carts, dollies, or tape. I had to repack the vehicle because the loading was inefficient.

Our summary of City Hound Professional Movers
Value, care, and speed drive the strongest feedback. Of 112 reviews, 91.1% are positive. Customers praise affordable rates, transparent quotes, easy booking, flexible scheduling, reliable arrival updates, careful handling, and follow-up from the team. Several customers say City Hound cost less than larger competitors, while final bills matched quotes or came in below estimates. Negative feedback points to damaged belongings, missing parts, weak communication, missing tools, and late arrivals. Two 3-star reviews also flag equipment gaps and a pricing concern. City Hound compares well with other movers on price and convenience, but it needs stronger equipment checks, damage prevention, and timely communication to deliver the same dependable service on every job.
