The guys couldn’t have been better. They were quick and professional. What struck me most was how polite they were. The owner called after the move to be sure we were satisfied.
Negative McCarthy's Moving & Storage Inc. Reviews
Yelp
Unprofessional first impression. Sounded like someone's home rather than an office. Girl answering was more focused on her friends and giggling.
Yelp
Read everything you sign if something breaks. Apparently everything you own is worth 50cents a pound according to the contract so the $500 year old bed they broke is only worth 50 dollars.
Yelp
One of the workers did not want to move anything extra heavy and was yelling and swearing in my yard for all to hear. Stuff was missing and stuff was Brocken on the move.
Neutral McCarthy's Moving & Storage Inc. Reviews
Sandy T., Yelp
This ended up causing damage to some of the corners and edges of my furniture. I showed one of the guys the damage and he denied adamantly that they caused the damage.
Yelp
PROS: 1. Price -the cheapest of three bids. 2. Super nice crew, very flexible with schedule. CONS: 1. They said they would wrap everything so as to minimize dings and scratches -not the case.
