Yelp
The owner responded literally right away and the move went seamlessly. The movers were efficient, polite, competent, careful, and clearly experienced. They were also the most affordable company I could find.
Yelp
RARE was totally flexible and accommodating when PODS made a mess of things. Once they arrived, everything went smoothly. I'd absolutely recommend them for Boston-area moves.
Negative Rare Moving & Trucking Company Reviews
Yelp
They 'accidentally' threw away a bunch of our belongings after mixing our items with someone else's. The movers did the work well, but the two supervisors were not good to deal with.
Yelp
They forgot an entire closet and a computer, broke a new metal table leg, and denied causing the damage. The owner was absent for hours, leaving the crew without proper supervision.
Yelp
They broke items, dented new hardwood floors, damaged a wall and door, and left broken belongings in boxes months later. They repaired the wall and door, but covered the floor damage with a marker.
Neutral Rare Moving & Trucking Company Reviews
Yelp
The actual move was fine: nothing was broken, and the movers were on time and professional. About a third of our stored items were lost, and reimbursement did not replace their sentimental value.
