I was in from out of town for a few days and asked if they could do this move on extremely short notice; they were able to accommodate, which was amazingly helpful.
Negative Bauer & Son Moving Reviews
Yelp
This company does not come to your house; they request that you take your own inventory and send it to them. This is quite difficult for a nonprofessional moving out of a 7,000-square-foot house and did not seem professional.
The movers were nice enough and did a pretty good job, but the $330 minimum charge was not disclosed beforehand. They quoted $110 per hour and mentioned it only after arriving, leaving me disappointed.
They damaged a leather chair, broke a wheel off a hamper, scratched my TV stand, and broke an antique picture frame containing family pictures. They claimed the chair was old and worn out, but I will never use the service again.
