This is the second time I have used Bellhop. Each time the gentlemen were quick and efficient. They are worth every penny. This time their movers emptied an entire POD in a major North Carolina Snow storm. I highly recommend Bellhop Movers
The team did a great job! They moved super quickly, were communicative, and took care of my belongings. Overall a very professional and friendly bunch that I would happily hire again. Thanks everyone! Bellhop app and email communication was also top notch. Highly recommend this service!
The team was amazing! Very polite and friendly. They were thorough and delicate with our furniture. They made our move a breeze.
Negative Bellhop Moving Reviews
If I could give less than one star for our most recent experience I would. It was horrible. Movers arrived late, left items behind, damaged furniture, and support never responded. Do not use!!!
We booked well in advance, signed all required contracts, provided credit card details, and confirmed the day before. Bellhop cancelled our booking 1/2 hour prior to scheduled arrival leaving us in a really stressful situation.
Moving was a disaster. Only 1 out of 5 movers showed up, had to reschedule, and the team lead was unprofessional. Customer service was unhelpful and slow to respond.
Neutral Bellhop Moving Reviews
Bellhop first cancelled on us due to weather though we still received other deliveries on the same day. Then, they rescheduled us on a day their truck lot was closed, so they couldn’t move our possessions the second scheduled day. Third scheduled day was a charm with a discount since the second scheduled day was their error. Our moving team however, was great (aside from the driver). Eddie was very polite and helpful. Joel seemed very experienced and just ready to work. Eddie and Joel did a great job helping to coach Abraham on things. Abraham was quiet, but very helpful and never stopped working. Would recommend all of these three guys. Our driver just sat in the truck the entire time. Maybe that is their business model that the driver doesn’t actually help move things?
First things first: Bellhop is a facilitator; they just hook you up with random local movers. Be aware. They were pretty good: Matthew, the lead, was good at communicating to see what I needed. Unfortunately, they were *supposed* to have the driver, lead, "muscle," and a recruit to complete my move, but the "recruit" didn't show up. Because of that, it took them an hour longer than quoted, which meant more $$ than they said it would be. The driver can't do any work: he has to stay with the truck. They were very respectful, and listened to where I wanted them to put things on the back end. They did crush the corner of my boxspring, but claimed they didn't drop it. All in all, I would say: better than Two Guys& a Truck, but I don't know that I would use them again.

UPDATE: After posting this review & sending feedback directly, Bellhop followed up, took ownership of what went wrong, and worked with us toward a fair resolution. They reimbursed our out-of-pocket costs and provided additional compensation that ultimately made us feel made whole. While the move itself was still a poor experience, we appreciate the way the company revisited the situation, acknowledged their mistakes, and handled the resolution professionally. For that reason, we’ve updated our rating to reflect both a difficult move, but a fair and professional resolution. Our original move was canceled due to inclement weather, which is understandable and out of anyone’s control. However, the issue was how it was handled. We were not notified until an hour after our scheduled moving window had already started, and only because we proactively called when no one showed up. During that call, we admittedly were frustrated, but were ultimately told that the situation “wasn’t their problem,” which was incredibly disappointing given the circumstances. We were able to reschedule for a few days later, but the problems continued. We were contractually promised a specific truck size and three movers, yet only two movers arrived with a smaller truck than agreed upon. As a result, loading took six hours instead of the estimated three, and we were forced to rent a U-Haul out of pocket to transport the remaining furniture. To be clear, the movers themselves were professional and worked hard. However, it was obvious that Bellhop failed to staff the job appropriately, putting both their employees and us in a difficult position. When we raised these issues with Bellhop, they offered an $80 credit—an amount that doesn’t even cover a third of the cost of the U-Haul we had to rent because they failed to provide the contracted truck. This experience was completely unacceptable and added unnecessary stress to an already stressful move. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Bellhop.
