The crew moved incredibly slowly, often transporting just a single item at a time rather than working efficiently...The process took over five hours. In addition, several details discussed during my pre-screening call—such as pricing and procedures—turned out to be inaccurate or were changed without clear explanation...While I had hoped for a smoother experience, this move was stressful and much more costly than expected. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this company based on my experience."

"My refrig was turned upside down when loaded, scratched up everywhere, the freezer drawer was off kilter, furniture, pictures, glasses were broken, even my grandson's toy tractor was broken...The bill was 3x the estimate and again the manager blamed me...They never completed the job and we had to go back twice. I would never, ever recommend College Hunks to move your home. Only thing they're good for is moving junk because that's how they treat your belongings!"

"So a lot of things went a little side ways with this job. First and foremost, my two movers were about an hour and a half late...Once the movers saw that my inventory was only 3 shelves, 2 TVs, a desk, a dresser, and a bed they offered to move other items for me as well at no extra cost. Well, the extra cost came in the form of the job taking an extra hour to complete...A LOT of my items were broken. My desk had the legs torn off...the dresser has damages to the wood. The walls of my new apartment were scratched. I actually watched from my window as they moved a large piece of my furniture and knocked down one of my shelves into the road, then proceeded to leave it in the street...My movers were very kind and looked like they were doing their best...but over all I'm not satisfied with the services provided and will not be using College Hunks again."

Anyway, the rep I spoke to and the company’s founder were super responsive and refunded me a bit over half of what I paid. The local franchise dropped the ball, but the company overall picked it back up...My appointment window was from 10am-12pm...the hunks arrived over 3 hours after the start time estimate...I received 1 hour of work because I did most of it myself."
