"WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This moving company is waste of your money. To start, they showed up late and they did not come prepared with a big enough truck even though I advised them that we would most likely need a 18-wheeler or comparable amount of space, delaying our move for an additional 2 hours. This alone caused a number of issues, including that the drive, that should have taken 2 and a 1/2 hours took 4, because by the time the additional trucks showed up, it was in the middle of the evening commute coming from the south bay area to El Dorado County, the trucks did not arrive at our new home until almost 9:00 in the evening. Then comes the unpacking of the trucks, where our items and boxes we continually slammed, dropped and damaged. In total the items dropped broke or damaged were, a sound bar, Christmas dishes (Over 20 pieces), a rack that holds table and chairs, our kitchen table, two dressers, one bed, one TV and our washer and dryer have scratches all over them. I understand that in moving things happen, but that is the same reason we hired what were supposed to be professionals. The company has not responded to us about the damage and has ignored emails that were sent."

"We used california movers a few months ago and as soon as we started unpacking we noticed our TV was broken during the move and we had several missing items. None of the movers mentioned this to us and pressured and rushed us into signing a form that stated nothing was broken and left as quickly as possible. We told them about what happened and we were instructed to send invoices and receipts to have them reimbursed...but nothing ever happened. We contacted California Movers several times and we were told every time that we would hear back, but we never did. We have been completely ignored and none of our items were ever found and our tv remains cracked and unusable. This is completely unprofessional to disregard and ignore paying customers. They have a 100% satisfaction guaranteed and were simply not satisfied at all and no money was ever reimbursed as we were initially told. It's really not that hard to reply to your customers and help when these kinds of problems come up."

"Terrible communication. They were going to be a couple hours late and they never even told me. I had to scramble and a new mover on the day they were scheduled to me me! Nightmare. And they never issued me a refund or spoke to me. I had to do a charge back. I asked for a manager to discuss the problem and I heard nothing back. I can’t believe these guys are a legitimate business."

"Mixed experience. Negative: When the movers arrived, they quoted us a major extra fee that wasn't in our quote ($25/box packing fee, in addition to the $150/h labor and materials cost we were already paying), and were quite insistent about it. They already had our deposit, so we didn't have much choice. We paid cash at the end, and they wouldn't give us a detailed/enumerated receipt that showed the extra fee. It added up to an extra $200. Positive: The movers were otherwise quick, effective, and friendly. They got our things from Oakland to SF without damaging anything or any major hiccups. When we contacted the central office about the extra fee, they apologized and issued a refund. So, consider working with them, but be very careful about dishonest extra charges, and keep as much documentation as you can."

"Very fast and efficient movers, they were on time and things went smoothly! One thing that did bother me, was that one of the movers did not wear a mask for the duration of the service. They had one and put it on briefly when they first entered the property -after that, no mask the whole time. This is something that I feel is serious given the current circumstances!"

"They have persistent follow-up and quoted an hourly rate, but I needed an out the door price for a cross country move. I have no idea how many hours that requires. Secondly, I asked how much advance notice they needed in peak summer. No reply. Think I'll keep looking."
